Giveaway Day

*Edit* Entry Period Closed!

Hello! I'm Kristin and welcome to my blog, And Chips!  I know you are in a hurry so I'll get right to the best part, I'm giving away one of my handmade stuffed toys (your choice of the two in the pick) in honor of Sew, Mama, Sew's Spring Giveaway Day this year.

All you have to do for a chance to win is answer my question in the comments on this post.  (Remember to leave your email address if you're a no-reply blogger.)

Question: What soft toy would you most like to see? It could be an animal, person, food, object...any noun or adjective-noun combination will do.   If you're at a loss, just let me know whether you'd pick the lamb or the elephant.

I will select the winner after the giveaway closes on May 16th at 6 PM PST.

My followers get a chance for an additional entry (not necessary to win.)  If you follow And Chips, thank you! You can leave one more comment telling me how you follow my blog.

This giveaway is open to everyone.

My soft toys are made by me with all new materials (unless otherwise stated) but they do have small parts and are not for babies or unsupervised little ones.

The lamb was stitched from a pattern designed by Abbey Glassenberg of While She Naps available here for free at Sew, Mama, Sew!.  It's made of cotton flannel, Minky, polyfil and embroidery floss.

The elephant was made from a pattern designed by Jodie Carleton of Ric Rac (available here.)  It's made from cotton flannel, polyfil, embroidery floss, ribbon and the arms and legs are jointed with large vintage buttons.

I'm a sewer, embroiderer, knitter, and a quilter but over and over again I return to sewing stuffed animals.  I call it: "Making new friends."  So here's to friends, old and new.  I'm so happy you stopped by.

I hope you head back over here when all the giveaway hubbub has calmed down.  Thank you and good luck!

Keep stitchin'

-Kristin

  1. I would love a soft toy just like my dog, Monty. He is an adorable black patterdale terrier with small white bib. He is really friendly and thinks everyone loves him. My daughter would also like a cuddly tardis as she loves Doctor Who, actually she would probably love a cuddly Doctor who!
